It's true.  Text adventure games on the iPhone is reality.

So how do you get interactive fiction on an iPhone?

You unlock an iPhone or perform what's known as an iPhone jailbreak and load iPhone Frotz.

Since this is a "black hack" of the iPhone we cannot tell you how to unlock an iPhone. We also cannot tell you how to load software on an iPhone.

Further, our statement that all of our interactive fiction titles run on the Apple iPhone should not be construed as an endorsement that you should unlock an iPhone or condone the actions of performing an iPhone jailbreak.

We are not even suggesting that you should unlock an iPhone for any reason at all.

Just because we unlocked an iPhone and loaded iPhone Frotz and all of our text adventure games on it doesn't mean you should.

Besides, after the release of iPhone software update 1.1.1 it is presently impossible to jailbreak an iPhone that has this software update loaded. They changed the encryption scheme.

In addition, we do not and we will not provide technical support of any kind for customers wishing to load our interactive fiction titles on an iPhone. Yes, Malinche text adventure games work on the iPhone.  As to how you unlock an iPhone or load our interactive fiction titles on an iPhone -- you are on your own until Apple adopts a formal policy on third party developers for the iPhone.
